We are delighted to introduce Stacey to the Scout Hut!! As with all our new recruits, we thought we would take her through her paces and ask her to write the blog today and ask her some telling questions. Here is what she had to say for herself:
Hello world! My name is Stacey, I’m a bubbly energy filled person who likes to keep everyone happy.
I’m a mum of two beautiful young girls (and yes, i’m allowed to say that as I’m biased) who definitely keep me on my toes – in addition to their adorable Netherland dwarf bunnies which also require constant work, as the girls attention span for them is relatively short ;o)
My background is in Marketing, I started working as soon as I left school, being driven by money and work experience rather than the academic side of things. I worked for Integral Marketing for many years working my way up, then after maternity spent a year at Experian, from there I moved from Direct Marketing into Integrated Creative Marketing where I was an Office Manager looking after the staff on a daily basis. This was great however I realised after few years working full time that I was missing out on my girls growing up so starting to look for something more part-time. That’s when I got the call from Nick and Rebecca at Scout – I managed to get through their interview process and here I am, working as a Talent Consultant at Scout. As I have a background in the marketing industry, I know what it takes to match the right candidate with the right company. I’m always being told I’m a bit of a match maker… ;o) at least now I can concentrate this into the corporate capacity!
Your favourite meal: A good curry, as hot as I can take it!
Your favourite place in the world: Cuba, sitting on one of their beautiful beaches.
Your favourite word: ‘squishies’ – relating to my children and the bunnies in particular!!
Your beverage of choice: Either a ‘sex on the beach’ type cocktail or actually a good ol’ hot chocolate.
Thing that annoys you the most: Snoring! I am a very light sleeper and my hubby is a seasoned snorer! (sorry darling, the truth has to be told!)
